Acoustic, or sound, noise testing is an important indicator of residential blocks of apartments and cottages quality. Acoustic measurements is a separate test category, necessary not only for transferring one or more apartments houses, cottages, blocks of apartments, but also educational, medical or hotel buildings to the State Commission. Obligatory sound or noise measurements for new residential houses with more than one apartment came into effect after Lithuania entered the European Union.
